A Message from The Monaghan House
We want to sincerely apologize for a recent post made by an associate regarding Chix, the event that was to be hosted in our downstairs space. The statement included in that post — specifically the hate speech: “Fuck the locals” — is something that The Monaghan House would never say, stand for, or support.
The Monaghan House is, and always has been, a place where everyone is welcome. We are 100% inclusive of all races, creeds, genders, sexual orientations, and religions. Our community has embraced us — and our proud Jewish ownership — with love and acceptance, and we will always reflect that same spirit back.
We care deeply about our guests, our neighbors, and the South Amboy community. Please know this unfortunate comment does not represent who we are. Our doors, our barstools, and our hearts are always open to everyone.
